WHY BECOME A REFEREE?
PASSION
You have a love for the sport of Football and can't get enough of it. Officiating is one of the best ways to stay involved with the game, and be right in the middle of the action.
CAMARADERIE
Being an official allows you to interact with players, coaches, and other officials. Build relationships and fellowship through a shared passion for Football.
FITNESS
Being a referee can be a physically demanding role. Keep your body fit and in shape while getting paid and being involved in the great sport of Football.
UNIQUENESS
No two games of Football are exactly alike. Feel the adrenaline rush that comes with each never-before-seen play or moment, and having to step up and make the big call.
YEAR ROUND
With Boys Tackle & Girls Flag, we have the opportunity to be part of the game of football year round. As officials, we are not just on the field to enforce the rules but to ensure the athletes enjoy the game to ensure the never-ending growth.
FLEXIBILITY
We become football officials as we love the game. But our daily lives may not allow us to work every day. That's ok! As football officials, we are independent contractors. This means we can work any league (sanctioned by the SCFOA) and any day/time. You choose how much you want to work.
